Our Story
TerraCorp Capital is a real estate holding and development company founded in 2009 by Boyd E. Smith, a graduate of the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. The company specializes in luxury small-home communities, golf course developments, RV resorts, luxury single-family residences, custom barndominium homes, and land development projects throughout Washington, Arizona, Texas, and Utah.
TerraCorp’s growth strategy is centered on the acquisition, enhancement, and development of established RV resorts and golf course communities. The company is committed to creating thoughtfully designed, energy-efficient developments through strategic capital improvements and innovative construction methods. TerraCorp incorporates sustainable building technologies including solar energy systems, foam insulation, concrete, and block construction to create homes that are both environmentally responsible and architecturally appealing.
In addition to large-scale resort and community developments, TerraCorp also acquires and develops smaller land parcels for custom barndominium-style homes and residential sale lots. These homes are designed with open-concept floor plans, vaulted barn-style ceilings, and a focus on modern luxury living while maintaining energy efficiency. Construction materials commonly include concrete, block, EPS foam, metal roofing, stucco, and rock siding, complemented by covered porches, exposed beams, and custom pillar features that blend rustic design with upscale craftsmanship.
At the core of TerraCorp’s vision is the development of luxury resort-style communities located on or around golf courses, waterfronts, and scenic outdoor settings. These communities are thoughtfully designed to preserve long-term financial integrity while delivering an exceptional lifestyle experience. TerraCorp enhances its developments with premium amenities such as community centers, pickleball courts, swimming pools, golf facilities, walking trails, and other recreational features that benefit both residents and the surrounding community.
